Maverick Menus' Terms, Conditions and Policies

All merchandise is shipped via U.P.S. Ground, with freight and handling charges added.
STOCK ITEMS: Items marked "STOCK" should be available for shipment within 48 hours in the sizes and colors indicated. Our menu papers are considered as stock items.
CUSTOM ITEMS: All items Not Marked "STOCK" are classified as custom items.
TERMS: A 50% (Check or Money Order) deposit is required to initiate production of any and all "CUSTOM" products, items  and services. A All "CUSTOM" work will commence once your check has cleared.
All "CUSTOM" orders must be in writing, accompanied by your 50% (Check or Money Order) deposit and artwork if applicable. All products shall remain our property until your invoice has been paid in full, including all freight and handling charges Any expense borne by us necessary to collect delinquent accounts (beyond thirty days), including reasonable legal fees and court costs, plus a service charge of 1.5% per month, shall be considered as part of the unpaid balance of your invoice. Dies, plates, screens, art, typesetting, computer files or any other service or material produced as an intermediate step in manufacturing your order, will remain our property whether or not it has been charged as a separate item or included in the cost of your order.
CUSTOM PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS: Where indicated, prices for covers include personalized foil stamping or debossing a restaurant's name, address and logotype. Different covers have different specifications and will be indicated. Where indicated, additional plate/setup fees will be charged for standard "STOCK" items where personalization is requested. Where we have been supplied camera-ready black and white line artwork (no half tones) in position, No Proof will be submitted to you. Where we have been asked to set type, create or modify a supplied mechanical, or render a logo, your request will be billed at the rate of $75.00 per hour. No work will commence until we have received your written approval for the additional charges based on your requests. We will supply you with One Proof for the request you wanted. There will be a charge for any and all author's alterations made to this proof. "One Time" die/plate charges are good only for the life of the plate.
Allow approximately 4-5 weeks for production of custom personalized covers and products.
RUSH ORDERS: Maverick Menus stands firm on the belief that quality is paramount. Therefore in order to provide you with the highest quality available we stand hard and firm on all our standard production times. We will not rush an order and compromise our quality standards.
ARTWORK TIPS: We can view and output the following types of digital files: EPS (best results) or TIFF files (MAC or PC format). We can only accept your files created in the following applications: PhotoShop 3.0 or better, Illustrator 7.0 or better and Quark 3.32 or 4 (MAC or PC format). When supplying digital files All Fonts Must Be Included. We can only accept your digital files on the following removable media: Floppies, Zip Disks 100mbs. or CD-ROMS.
NOTE: When supplying and designing artwork for us to use in the production of your covers, these guidelines must be followed: All type must be 18 point or larger and fine lines must be 2 point or thicker. Otherwise additional charges will be incurred and billed at the rate of $75.00 per hour when we have to re-set type, re-create or modify supplied camera ready black and white line artwork (no half-tones) or digital files. When additional charges are necessary, you will be informed of all charges before any work is started.
RETURNS ON STOCK ITEMS: Unless otherwise specified, any UNUSED "STOCK" item may be returned to us for credit or refund less all shipping and handling charges both ways within 30 days from the time you received your order. A return authorization number is required for the return of any in stock item (s). All returns will be charged a 20% re-stocking fee. Goods must be returned unused, in the original shipping boxes and in the same condition in which they were shipped.
RETURNS ON CUSTOM ITEMS: Non Stock or custom manufactured goods with or without a personalized logo can not be returned. These types of sales are final. However we will be happy to supply free samples of these items for your inspection prior to your order. All cancellations must be confirmed in writting. Cancellations on custom orders must be within 5 business days from date order was placed and charges for any and all work, dies, plates, etc. will be due.
DAMAGED GOODS: Call us immediately. We will replace any in stock goods, arrange to have the original shipment inspected by the carrier and returned to us at no cost to you, providing you have saved the shipping containers in which you received the damaged goods.
TAXES:: We collect sales tax on all sales of any goods or services sold to residents of the state of New York. We will not waive New York State Sales Taxes.
CREDIT CARDS: We can accept your full payment by American Express, Discover, Master Card and Visa for any in stock items. Custom Orders require a 50% deposit by check or money order. All work will commence once your check has cleared.
SHIPPING: All orders are shipped via U.P.S. Ground service.
NO HAGGLING POLICY: At Maverick Menus we believe that everyone is entitled to make a living. We charge a fair price for a fair days work and have taken the time and effort to put together pricing that we feel reflects a fair price for the products and service that we offer. If you have the need to haggle be advised we stand hard and firm on all our pricing and occasionally we have raised our prices on persistent Hagglers.
PRINTED PROOF PRICING: Black and White Laser Proofs: Letter Size 8.5" x 11" = .50 cents each Legal Size 8.5" x 14" = .75 cents each
Tabloid Size 11" x 17" = 1.00 each  Color Ink-Jet Proofs: .10 cents per square inch
FINAL PROOF POLICY: Before any custom printing order enters the final printing or production stage Maverick Menus MUST first receive your signed approval on all final proofs.
We are not responsible for typographical errors or misprints in our printed literature or on our web-site. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Your approval and understanding of our Terms, Conditions and Policies is needed before we can process your order or start production on any products or services that you are purchasing. Complete and approve this form if you understand and agree with the terms, conditions and policies stated above.
